Elstree Film Design - Best Film & Best Design

Made in under 24 hours for the Elstree Film Design - Sense of Humour competition, Scruffles went on to win Best Film and Best Design and was nominated for Best Idea, Story and Look.

I puppeteered and voiced all of the characters; my mate Richard was an excellent body double, and the puppet itself was originally made for a separate uni project. Recycling at its finest.

It also screened at BFI Southbank, judged by industry professionals from Warner Bros., Elstree Studios, and Creative England. Not bad for a film about a puppet having an existential crisis.
