I wanted to bring HSBC’s history to life in a way that felt tangible and engaging. I spent time exploring their extensive archives, researching and building a timeline of their technological innovations to find the moments where HSBC truly excelled. Rather than just flashing photos on screen, we focused on authentic items that carried the marks of time. Stains, creases, and tears told their own story, making the history feel real rather than just remembered.

To keep it from feeling like a dry corporate history lesson, we leaned into a quirky and eccentric style, making the film as fun as it was informative. It was all about celebrating HSBC’s legacy in a way that felt real, tactile, and full of personality.
